Agape Hospice is engaged in one of the most
sensitive of operations, caring for individuals in the twilight of
their lives. Our dedication to our clients is legendary and, as
such, the families of those lost very commonly express their
profound gratitude for the service that we provide. Many times,
surviving family members, often in memory of their loved ones,
express desires to forward contributions to Agape Hospice Group for
the purpose of extending benefits to others facing the troubling
circumstances associated with end-of-life matters
For such gifts, Agape Hospice established the Agape Charitable Fund Organization, a non-profit entity that accepts donations from both institutions and individuals, with each targeted toward benefiting hospice patients and their family members. The Agape Charitable Fund Organization is particularly active in funding wants and needs that are not covered by the hospice benefit provided by Medicare. Such assistance makes an incredible difference in the lives of our clients, easing their burden during a most trying period of time.
In recent years, the Agape Charitable Fund Organization has addressed the wants and needs of many deserving patients and their families. The following list presents just a few of the many contributions forwarded by the Agape Charitable Fund Organization.
- Provision and installation of heating and air conditioning units
- Assistance with home maintenance, including plumbing improvements
- Installation of wheelchair ramps
- Payment of utility and telephone bills
- Last dying wish outings
- Assistance with planning and staging family reunions
- Provision of food and clothing
- Provision of medications and supplies not covered by hospice benefit plans
Delivering charitable assistance to our clients is a simple process. Once one of our four offices identifies a patient or family need, a request for funds is initiated, with monies being forwarded by the Agape Charitable Fund Organization to cover associated costs.
